make the change to CLOUD NINE

HAIR TIP OF THE WEEK.

People often ask me how I do my hair. I almost always use heat styling, weather its straightening it or curling it. I'm about to let you in on a little secret on how I get it so dang perfect.

For years in the Hair dressing industry, all anyone has ever talked about is GHD. In the last year or so, Hair machine have stepped into a new direction of Cloud Nine.

To be honest, at first I wasn't convinced, nothing could be better than a GHD, could it? But after going to countless training sessions & using Cloud Nine in the salon, the proof is in the pudding.
The people who invented Cloud Nine, were once involved in making GHD so they definitely know what their on about. They've just improved it and made something even better.

The Cloud Nine straightener is amazing on your hair & has a heat gage built into it.
There's no need to put 200 degrees of heat on that hair of yours every single day. Lower the heat gage on the days your only touching it up or fixing your fringe.

Anyway, enough preaching. Get yourself a Cloud Nine straightener or curling iron. You wont be sorry! Check out some photos below.

HAIRMACHINE ARTISTIC TEAM.

Sharing is caring. I wanted to show you guys some of the work I helped with last weekend.

I spent all of my sunday working with the rest of the Hairmachine Artistic Team at a styling photoshoot. It was a long day because there were 6 different models but well worth it. As always, I picked up alot of tricks & techniques from the other HM girls.
Enjoy. x

Hello 90s.

I am noticing (and loving) a comeback in 90s grunge fashion trends lately. Welcome back choker necklaces, platforms & knot buns. Quirky cartoon socks and tops, original adidas tees, puffy vests; its all coming back. Grunge has been in for awhile but I'm seeing more quirky-ness in fashion atm & I have to say I like it.

I just pray that flared jeans wont creep their way back into our hearts because I swore id never go back.

Recent outfit posts & some 90s grunge inspo for ya'll. Enjoy. xx

GATSBY APPRECIATION POST.

Needed to post about how amazing 'The Great Gatsby' is.

Leo.. DROOL!  I had to shake myself when I started getting genuinely upset that I wasn't his Daisy.

Leaving Leo aside, I have to mention the fashion, diamonds and more diamonds! Lets not forget the hair either; Hollywood curls and water waves with head pieces everywhere you looked. The 20s seemed like such a glamorous era, the parties and money. Mind you, my luck id probably be a poor hooker or something.

Moving on, I wanted to post some of my favourite photos from the flick. Enjoy. xx

braids for days.

Everyone loves braids, me included. Now honestly, I should have washed my hair this morning, but you know how it is, snoozed the alarm 100 times and just didn't have time. For me, this type of hair style saves the day! Whipped it up in 10 minutes and I was set for my 12 hour day of work. Thank god no one realised how dirty my hair actually was. Crisis averted.
Dress this style up or down, you cant go wrong. If you cant just 'whip it up yourself' then come down to Hair Machine at Westlakes & ill do it for you. A bit of self advertisement never hurt anybody.
Enjoy x

first step is starting.

Where do I begin...?
Been meaning to start a blog for awhile but its a little nerve racking. I literally just read an article titled 'Starting a blog - for dummies' so fingers crossed I can get it right.
Ill be posting about my job, new trends, my personal style & things that inspire me.
Bare with me, I am new to this!
Stay tuned. x
